I'd think on average the SRT is 2 or 3 tenths faster than a GT. It shouldn't take many mods to pull even with a stock SRT-8(Intake, Exhaust and tune.)

I ran a 300C a few years back, pretty easy win. I dunno about the SRT8 Package though since I haven't come across one in my area. It's rare to see a 300C that wants to race, mostly due to the elderly community or the big wheel guys piloting them as opposed to actual motorheads.

i feel that i am not moving in a rolling highway start the race was until 200km/h
when he waited 3 seconds he got me about 2 car lengths but yeah my car is stock and i just ordered a 4.30 motiv gear
4.30s! damn you're a hardcore racer...well I should talk, my 4.10s + swapping my pirelli 55 series for my nitto 40 series gets me pretty close to 4.30 (goodbye highway pulls, hello quarter mile races)...
And goodbye also to your gas [&:]
lol when I went to pick up my car after the gear swap the first thing the tech said was "hope you like buyin gas"...

I did an internet search and for what it is worth the Charger SRT-8 was dead on with S197 in 0-60 and 1/4. The SRT-8 Magnum was a bit slower as well as the 300. Someone double check but from a dig is total driver's race stock for stock. Add some bolt-ons and S197 should win. From a roll the higher gearing and larger engine should cause as S197 loss?

exactly. my new edge (when it was basically stock) i kept up with magnum and charger SRT-8's with 4.10gears and full exhaust. you shouldnt have that much of a problem. Their 6.1 pushrod turds are useless cause of the weight of the vehicle they put them in. Same thing with a GTO 6.0. Great LS engine, shi**y design for a car.

SRT8 will run between stocker times of 12.9 to 13.2 [1/4 mile drag] all day. Unless you are modded, expect to loose. It is not a mere drivers race but a car that is consistent with those times.

Imagine what a 6.1 can do with a simple bolt on 6.4 or 6.9 kit?

525HP 6.4 or 610 6.9

Now your point is?
