Happy Monday (I guess!). Maybe this should be in off-topic (I'm not sure), so, admins, feel free to move it if you see fit.

I don't know about everyone else on here, but I have come to the conclusion that I am never driving my Mustang when I really need to be. Case in point: Saturday! I was at a cook out and took my 5 month old puppy with me (at the request of the party's hosts). Because of this, I didn't take the Mustang but my 06 Xterra (not that the dog couldn't fit in the Mustang; I just don't want the dog in the Mustang). After a couple of hours had passed I went to get the pup's food only to realize that I had measured it out, but left it sitting on the counter at home - so back home I go.

It's on the way home in the Xterra that I pass a couple of teenagers in what appeared to be an older Eclipse (it was difficult to tell with the amount of crap attached to the car) thinking they were all bad-@$$, listening to their bass-thumping, rap, giving everyone the don't-you-wish-you-were-as-cool-as-us look. And all I could think was, "I wish I had the Stang to pull up beside them, NOT playing rap (probably Buffett, Clapton, although it's been SRV lately) and just show them up a little. But alas, I did not.

After getting the food, and heading back, I proceed to pass a (very cute) girl in a Civic, thinking she was all bad-@$$ when her large Jackie-O sunglasses, clear taillights (which I actually don't mind that much) and pissed-off bumblebee exhaust. Again, REALLY wanted to have my car so that I could spank her (Freudian slip, anyone?!?).
I drove my car all day yesterday, and into work today - and do I see anything like this? Nope! Le sigh! OK: [sm=rant.gif]

The very same thing happens to me,.....I'm linedup with a Goat or something at a light, and I'm not in the Stang,..........DOH!

Yeah, (265hp and 284 lb-ft) but it weighs a ****-load more than the Mustang! And mine is the 5-spd auto, not the 6-spd manual on that.

Although considering it was a non-modded Civic and (probably non-modded) Eclipse, you're correct in assuming that's probably all I needed! LOL According to MSN Autos, the 06 Xterra Auto is 16.18 @ 88.30mph in the ¼ mile; 0-60 is 8.0 on the dot.

same **** happend to me, on my way to work i was in the truck (03 serria) and some cobalt ss started messin with me. i tried my hardest but dang i wish i had my camaro with me lol
