i went out tonight with the goal of racing a 350z after cruising rt 42 for a few hour i find one that bites, i have a auto so after he took off it took a few seconds for me to downshift at pass him, as im passing i look over and he looks shocked. after staying back for about 5 min i see him coming up to get next to me, so i drop it in 3rd and wait. i take off again and leave him in the dust. earlier tonight while looking for the 350 i had a run in with a 3rd gen iroc-z, he pulls up next to me, revs it and flys away, so i decide to bite and chase after him, right as i catch up the traffic starts getting bad and hes weaving in and out like a ***** so i back off, 2 light down the road i see him so i get in the right lane and pull up next to him, he looks over laughs then revs, i turn the traction control off since i have 3 other people in the car and on green i stomp it and spin the tires a little,i chirp 2nd while my rear is next to his door, chirp 3rd(to my suprise, the first time its done it) about 2 cars ahead, and continue to pull to about 120. let off and cost to the next light. by the time it turns green i see him coming up behind me and at the next light he looks over at me and says " what the hell did you do that thing? ive smoke a dozen new gts" i look over laugh and tell him my basic mods, cai, tune, and axel back. i see a look of shame on his face when i finish telling him thats all i have. at the next light he tells me he has headers, high flow cats, a cat back, msd igniton, and some other stuff im forgeting at the time. and i steamed some ricers and smokeda durango r/t ( i still dont know why he tried to race)

 

probably cuz he might have thought you were stock.

Nice kills. But why are you racing with 3 other people in the car? Thats stupid and dangerous, its one thing to wreck and hurt yourself, but when you risk others lives, its dumb. And were you manually shifting an auto?

 

yea i know racing with other people in the car is stupid, they egged me on tho, i only made it downshift then i put it back in drive

 

What mods do you have???

 

Wouldn't it be easier to go the the strip if you wanted to race a 350Z? There's usally plenty there.

 

You know whats funny, is the 2 times I've been to our local 1/8 mile track, there have been 0 350Z's there racing. A few have shown up, but none were racing. And theres usually a good 150-200 people that show up.

 

i have a c&l cai with brenspeed tune and slp loudmouths. 373s going in the end of the week i hope

 

Thats suprising. There's always a few when I go. I never seen a modded one run yet so all the Z's I've seen run have been in the 14's.
