Well your mph is a little low for a 8.1X 1/8 mile. That's about what I run in the 1/8, but my mph is almost 6 mph faster. So, just guessing here, I would say you in the 12.7-12.9 range in the quarter. What do you think drag racers, about right?

Yeah I have a 5-speed but only have 3.73's. So have you run the quarter? I usually have no problem with slightly modded LS1's, after all check out my license plate in my sig...
My car runs 12.5's with crappy 1.9 60's. I had 3.73's but am upgrading to 4.10's. I am hoping to hit high 11's this spring.

lol yeah i noticed the tag, i was thinking about getting 4.11's but i want more top end, it may be better to get them though, a 66 mustang doesnt exactly drive like a new car so i wouldnt want to go over 100 anyway, my brothers car is pretty tough but all he has is bolt on and nitrous, i dont think he would be to hard to beat, im done on the track i think thats how i blew my other motor, im just wanting to embarrass the hell out of some gm's and ricers redlight to redlight now

An 8.17 is good for a 12.7-12.9 in the quarter. So an LS1 with a sticky tire is going to be right there, I say it would be a good race if the LS1 is relativly stock, most LS1 cars are modded (at least most of the ones who will want to play at a light). As for a Z06? you better be running 12.2-12.4 to be in the game there.

My car is almost completely stock. Depending on the weather, I run 8.7-9.1 in the 1/8 and 13.4-13.9 in the 1/4 at 102-105. It's an automatic with 2.73 gears. My g/f had a Camaro just like it (now she has one with 3.23 gears) and hers went 13.36 @ 105 stock. A 6-speed should be faster. Hope this helps.
