hey guys i just wanted to know what you thought who would win in a1/4 mile drag, a stock 06 mustang gt conv. with 10 car lengths, or a 06 corvette c6 (Both manual transmissions).

Have you ever driven a z06? They are quick and they hook up.

 

1320 feet is a 1/4 mile...our cars are probably 13 feet long so about 130 feet of advatage which is about 10% of the track. That is a lot of ground to make up in less than 12 seconds....I would tend to believe it would be close if not advantage to the mustang. what is the typical 1/4 mile time on a z06

 

first of all the corvette is not a z06 it is a regular c6 and my mustang is 15.6 feet long, a corvette runs like a 12.5 1/4 mile and my mustang runs it in like 13.8. Although the guy driving the corvette just got it and is not a very good driver. Buthe is extremely cocky

 

the cocky factor I would give him a car length and then take him...he will probably not have a clue how to drag you properly....

 

he wants to put 400 dollars on the race soi need to be pretty sure i can beat him with 10 lengths

 

i wouldnt put that steep of a bet on it but **** do it for 100.

 

are you allowed too make any mods at all?
