Just wanted to give a shout out to Simon1 and TDC71 for going to the track last night here in Sac. Simon1 made the over 3hr driveTuesday. Simon1 car is very nice if you have not seen it you should ask him to post some pics, and it pretty quick too, run in the high 12's and it was pushing 100degrees.

It was TDC71's first trip to the track with his car, he got down into the low 14's pretty good for first time out especially considering the heat. Unforunatly I did not run make car, I am going to give it another week or 2 for the clutch and for the temps to down at least into the low 90's.

I just got back. That was a hot night. WishI hadn't missed 2nd gear on the last run, would have been a greatET. Oh well. Still had blast for $15 no less. TDC71 did an outstanding job improving his numbers everytime he ran. He progessively lowered his ET's and improved his launches.

I probably would havehad some better times if I wasn't bracket racing. But oh well. I still had blast. Next timeI go,k it should be the STS turbo installed.

 

Can't wait for that by then I should have DR's, l&uca. Hada blast, TDC71 is hooked.

 

So when are you guys going back to my home track?

 

I am thinking about going this coming up Wednesday if it is not so hot, if not the following Wednesday. I have not ran the car hard in first or second yet still waiting on the clutch to break in, but I am close. Have no idea what I will run with the stock tires. Are you in Sac?
