2007 gt with cai/tune and a axle back or a stock 2004 m3?

 

To close to call. I say that because I have a good friend with a lightly modded 03 M3 and he ran a 13.6@102 with a 2.0 60. Throw in any kinda twisties and forget it!

Small edge to the M3. A few mods to the Mustang make it a driver's race.

Those M3's are stout. It should be real close, but don't miss third! Should be a drivers race and how well you come out of the hole. What you get out of the hole you should keep.

 

this kid thinks hes all big and bad in his stock m3. i think i hear a small exhaust leak but im not sure, i have a auto so missing a gear isnt a problem. he has the smg tranny. he said if we race he want to do it for a few grand or pinks. i told him what i have done and he said it would still be a go. i might be getting my gears put in before i race him. ofcorse id tell him and make sure hes really stock. id love to add a m3 to my collection but im not sure i wana risk loosing the first new car ive ever bought.

 

For one, how old are you and I take it your car is already paid off? Second, I wouldnt race for Pinks, you never know he might be a great driver and put that thing in the 12's and he might hook and go while you spin. I'd say if you can give up $200-300, then sure go for it, but other than that, I would race for fun. Your auto S197 with those mods should be running a mid 13 or so, so I'd say drivers race.

EDIT: Your 19 years old with a fully paid off S197? How much money did your parents give you or have you been saving up for a few years?

 

i find that most people who say they will only race for big amounts of cash or pinks are usually just trying to scare you into backing out because in reality they just don't want to risk embarassing themselves.
