IN '86 they started using the 350 instead of the 305, and it was a big jump. But I think the 305 was still an option. So I would check & make sure he is a 350.
When it was new and shiny it would run the 1/4 in just a tick under 15 seconds. And the SN197 GT did it in about 13 1/2 seconds. So you looking at 1.5 seconds. Plus the fact his car is over 20 years old and the fact he is an automatic. He is going to need a big lead. Hard to say for sure becuase it depends on how beat his engine is. But I would think 9-10 cars would be a start. But that is just an educated guess.
ya know its really kinda sad. this thing is such a piece of **** and it has no cats or exuast pipes on it so it sounds really loud. All of his friends were like ooooooo damn this thing sounds amazing. so this kid is thinkin hes hot ****.
