There's no doubt that there are better cheaper platforms to mod than STi / EVOs (EVOs are marginally cheaper to mod, but not really once you get to that power level). If you're going for big power with them, you better have deep pockets

Thanks for the info! I feel a lot more informed about the whole issue now.

I was having a difficult time believing that power of this level could be handled by a more or less "stock" engine with a few bolt ons and increased boost.
