IDK I thought this experience was sort of funny so I would like to share, on the road this morning I caught a light behind a big *** white truck with dualies and "SUPER DUTY" engraved on the tailgate, so sitting there waiting for the light this 5.7L ram came out of nowhere and aproached the light in a mad hurry.... the "superduty" sounded like a diesel and stunk like a diesel, and it was sort of funny what ensued after the ram jumped at the line rearing to go 4 or 5 times....

light turned green and the 5.7L squeeled his tires and was off, next thing I know I'm covered in a black smog cloud and flames were coming out of the super duties exhaust and he took off like he was driving a damn corvette.. and put multiplebus lengths on the ram and even made a spec of me when I decided to try

when I caught the next light I gave him a thumbs up and saw it was an F-450 Superduty with little air vents on the front fenders... he told me he modded it as soon as he bought it but diddn't get into anything specific

I about **** myself when that thing took off... it was glorious

 

LOL......that's why I won't even look at turbo diesels in my Hemi [8D]

 

I love turbo diesels cause it's hard to tell what's done to them and it's absolutely hilarious to see what those things can do with mods......some of the funniest videos I've seen are of diesels eating up on some respectable cars.

 

Haha. Those 6.4s are a great improvement over the previous 6.0s and 6.8s.

 

Absolutely amazing what a diesel is capable of.

 

+1 A friend of mine has a Cummins that runs 12.90's @ 103 because it's coasting at the end. Once at the track he was lined up beside a Camaro SS, it was even mildly modded. I told him he was gonna get his *** handed to him and he laughed at me. When they ran Camaro=13.11 Cummins=12.93.

 

they must have been right next to each other off the line, that must have been a site [8D]

 

Don't know, you couldn't see the Camaro through the smoke the Cummins was shooting out the stacks.
