We'll I dont normally liketo dual withmy fellow mustangers but.....This started some time ago whensomeone told me a certain (local)younggun rev'd me on the street(wanted to race)and my old azz didnt do anything but look away.Ididnt know this YOUNG ONE ..buy any other means than,,"he wants to race you" from several other young guns that do know me...He has a nice MACH1(03?) blue stang with supposed 4.10's exhaust etc..We'll Imet up with him toady and finally finished this .I wanted from a dig as I knew I'd rape him bad ...DR's and his street tires ,,it would've been easy(IMO)...of course it was 90 plus today and I was actaully worried a tad as I have no intercooler andmy ride hates the heat.Anyways..hefinally rolled onto the highway where we went from 60....on...third gear I pulled half caralmost instantly..fourth Ipulled away and just keep going..I thought itmaybe it wouldve been a tad closer...but hey...its SETTLED..hopefully he'll think twice before about calling out an old fart with JUSTa GT...
I tried to flag him to pull over to talk abit and buy him a soda but he went the other way ..dont know if he was mad glad ,,pissed...But ..I really digged hes car,,,is what I wanted to tell him....Very beautiful Blue mach 1....

WOW, you beat an exhaust and geared Mach 1 with a S/C GT. Kinda obvious who is gonna win that one. Nonetheless, good kill.

A S/C pi-2v and a S/C Mach 1 would most likely be one hell of a race. GT's like S/C's more than the Mach's do.

If you read this thread is not about a s/c 2v...its about a young kid talking trash to an older guy.

 

Yeah, a young kid with a Mach 1 talking sh*t to an older guy with a S/C GT.

i am not stupid enough to talk **** about a car that i know will beat me. but still

you put the same s/c on a stock mach and a stock 4v and the 4v will net almost 100rwhp more

i dont understand how that would be close but ok. and seeing how the 4v will pull so much harder up top

 

I've seen S/C Mach 1's and 96-01 Cobras with S/C's run and they were all running in the low 12 range with exhaust and maybe an intake. A S/C GT with exhaust and S/C will run around the same time, mid to low 12's. The compression on the Mach's is why they dont run aswell as GT's with S/C's.
