Anywho returning from my girls house tonight i happen upon what appeared to be a 96~98 gt it was red with rims and some kinda exhuast, i don't know if he had other mods but if anything just bolt ons. I am on my way and i go around him normally in the right lane but he did not want any of that and gives it some gas to get around me. We were just sizing each other up and i wasn't really getting on it but i would still be in front of him then we caught some clear road in front of us and took advantage. We went from 45 he jumped i pulled him back and let of at 105 with a greyhound or so on him . I kinda felt like a dick though becuase as i was going by i waved to his passenger and the look on his face was priceless. He followed me for about a couple more miles but we went our seperate ways and that was that.

nope i was mmob on my way home and he was game so i figured why not, im always interested to see what the other guy has. He did not do to bad it was worse for my buddy back when he had a 96gt with all the bolt ons besides headers. I don't terrorize anyone i drive a 14 sec slobalt remember

Where do you live? I'll run ya! I've only seen one or two SS/SC Cobalts around Va. Beach, and I've never had an opportunity to run any of them. Stupid traffic!

yeah i was surprised it did not do to bad for what it was i made other no pi bolt on cars look dumb in second gear but this guy was there for a second then once i hit thrid the punishing began

Nice kill. He is not calling out any mustangs just enjoying his kill. He is also faster than 14 sec just can't drive from a dig pretty fast car seen him at the track. If he could get it to hook more like a low 13. But if he is calling out mustangs(which I doubt) I will volunteer to stick up for the mustang brotherhood.

Ehhh...in that case maybe it had a PI swap, especially if downriver was talking about you and your 14 second quarter is with a lousy launch.

I still want to run a Cobalt, I think my car and a stock or lightly modded (Though I'm not that educated on all of the stages/submodels of the SS's) SS would be pretty evenly matched.
