well guys got good news I race some guys 04 gto last year,we raced 3 times I got him twice and he got me once on my old set up witch was a 306 withH/C/I set up any ways Isnapped the crank in September of 06. so I built me a 347 stroker and he went supercharged and was sayinghow when we race again that he was going to send my *** straight home !!! he called me last Monday and said "are you ready to race for$500" I said yea but not for cash cuz if I lose I couldn't afford it right now and plus I'am not tuned!! we agreed on running for fun! I got him 3 times in the 1/4 so he wanted to do a roll! lol I still got him!! he is putting out over 500RWH he was pist!!" so much for that smack talking"

wow its been a wile now but yea that gto is putting out 607whp and only ran a 11.8 in the 1/4.

not all GTO's are put together by strong armed thugs and driven my spongebob sqaurepants with no legs

I'm following a good friend of mines setup and it's really going to be a powerhouse on the track

15X8 in the back, 15X3 in the front, 2800 stall, 235/60/15 MT ET streets, LT headers, catback, CAI, tune, UD pulley, 3.73's, stock suspension, 1.8 rockers with 918's

he made 377RWHP @ 394lbs tq... his best 1/4 run to date is 12.0 @ 112MPH with a 1.6 60ft

his best 1/8th to date is 7.4 @ 90MPH with a 1.5 60ft

if a benchmark should be held on how to build a GTO this is the route someone should take to use the most of it's power potential... keep in mind this is still with the stock HCI setup and just basic bolt on's

alas most of the time you will come across idiots that strap on a maggie and think they don't need traction to race... just know this won't always be the case
