you should alwayse consider power to weight ratio before trying to race someone... stock we push 190 hp but it's probably more like 150 to the wheele and 220 lbs torque... but then againg we are rear wheel drive... this light weight civic with the v tec definately has the advantage as its front wheel and some where in the 200+ hp... try puting yourself up agains other v6 with similar weight leki grand ams and grad prix... **** like that... but yeah a 50 shot would totaly give you a big advantage but it would be better to put out some serious dough and get a SC... the cai is only gonna make your engine breath better and sound a lil better... other than that you would not knowtice a diffrence even if it adds a couple hp... but if you want to just have fun try to see how you can hold up to an 07 si... i'm actually gonna go try my stang on the track for the first time tomorow... i hope i do good....

and... dont put any cash into the sixxer, save and get a v8....

i raced an 06 si and literally got pounded on......the start wasn't that bad im an auto so....he got me by 1 car then he slowly pulled once he probably hit his 3rd he beat me by like...3 cars and pulled pretty hard
i raced a 2000 and i kept up w/him i beat him 2/4 races...
and i raced a LS swapped honda and he beat me by like 1/2 car i beat him 2/5 races

Well, now we’re going to have to start mentioning The Fast and the Furious and Star Wars in the same breath. They’re making a fourth Fast and Furious movie.
The news comes from The Hollywood Reporter where they say Chris Morgan, the writer of the third FF movie The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, has been hired to write a fourth installment for Universal Pictures. He’s also sold them some sort of untitled adventure script which presumably, is about racing rocket powered skateboards or something.
As for the fourth Fast and the Furious sequel the studio isn’t talking about what they’re planning for it. But my sources tell me that it may involve time travel and the rescue of two humpbacked whales. Most of the plot will revolve around finding a way to fit a whale tank in the trunk of a Mitsubishi without having to remove the Nitrus Oxide they need to achieve escape velocity when they jump over the sun."

i am now laughing my *** off this thread is crazy funny...
but i wouln't totaly write off the v6... i was at a mustang meet and i met a sc'd sixer wit the whole package i think it was 39 lb injectors 9not sure how many lbs.). high flow fulepump, 13 pis pully 8.8 diff stage 2 racing clutch, short sshift... thats just some things i can remeber but when i saw him dust a v8 my jaw dropped... i was tol that he likks the local skylines in the area and everyone thinks he got a v8... don't get me wrong he probably spnt a ****load of cash but he's got the bragging rights now... a v8 is a street monster but its had to brag that you beat a civic running a v8... i would love to hav a 5.0 in my stang but i don't know wut to do... i would really like to be able to have a killer 6 so for the next 2 to 3 years that's pretty much my goal... maybe i'll try to get a 5.0(i don't want a 4.6) after my sixer is complete...
