but i wouln't totaly write off the v6... i was at a mustang meet and i met a sc'd sixer wit the whole package i think it was 39 lb injectors 9not sure how many lbs.). high flow fulepump, 13 pis pully 8.8 diff stage 2 racing clutch, short sshift... thats just some things i can remeber but when i saw him dust a v8 my jaw dropped... i was tol that he likks the local skylines in the area and everyone thinks he got a v8... don't get me wrong he probably spnt a ****load of cash but he's got the bragging rights now... a v8 is a street monster but its had to brag that you beat a civic running a v8... i would love to hav a 5.0 in my stang but i don't know wut to do... i would really like to be able to have a killer 6 so for the next 2 to 3 years that's pretty much my goal... maybe i'll try to get a 5.0(i don't want a 4.6) after my sixer is complete...

I drive the 07 SI, its really not all that bad of a car. If you want to race one go fromdig, that should keep you close enough that you have a chance. If you go from a roll good luck because if you drop that thing in 3rd gear it really gets moving on the highway.

the new civics are pretty fast.....
i wanna race my friends 4 door now...lol
im just waiting and saving to get a V8

Believe it or not the 4 door will only be a tenth or two slower than the 2 door with the same driver. A good driver will beat the 2 door with the 4 door every time. The 4 doors only weigh 60 pounds more.

You can make anything fast, look at your 4 cyl....its fast isnt it?
Ever seen that video of the mini van running 9's? If it has wheels you can make it fast, but it is much more practical to start with something that has more potential.
V8 has way more potential than a V6, obviously.
