same goes for drifting... take it to the track where it belongs, there are sanctioned drift events almost everywhere. In parking lots, at race tracks. I do not promote doing it on the street any more than I promote drag racing on the streets. It shouldn't be done, it is not safe. Controlled environments only in my opinion. If thats what you're trying to say then say it. Rallie Series or whatever you are speaking of is not the only place for drifting.

I'm mixing my veiws of it being dangerous and pointless. It should be done in a place where the only person you stand hurting is yourself. But even then I feel drifting is pointless. The only place that it is needed is in the world rally serise. They are an actualy legit racing serise that runs many different terains like up mountains and snowy paths etc etc. They need to slide the rear around to make corners. Drifters do it because they think it looks cool. Which it pointless to me. It's not making you fast, your not compeating for anything. Your just out there to impress other no brained morons by almost losing control.

I understand that you think drifting is pointless, and it's a shame that you do. If I could say that I think drag racing or road racing is pointless we would have a great flame war going on here. Considering that you are the only muscle headed one here who thinks that a 1/4 mile time proves how big your ***** are or how cool your car is theres not much flame war going on here. It's not about whether you think drifting is pointless or not. Nobody asked for your opinion of drifting. The only questions here were about Mustangs ability to drift, what mods would make a drift setup for a Mustang, and an indirect question of what drifting really is. If you cannot answer those questions your posts are useless, as mine have now become just combating you. So how bout we end that?

It's the interweb. 99% of the posts on the interweb are useless. The other 1% are lies

I'm not much of a drag racer. I spent most of my time running Dirt tracks. (which includes sliding the rear to get around the corner). Coming from that I see no point doing that and not actualy hae a reason to..
