RT charger vs 05 GT
I imagine this has probably been covered a million times, and this example is suboptimal. I'm still posting because 1) it was fun and 2) it was my first hemi,
so here we go.
A limo-tinted black RT charger pulls up to me and starts revving his engine. This thing sounded mean. Made my stock exhaust feel incredibly inadequate.
My lady starts looking at me like I'm going to be completely obliterated by this guy because of how he sounds.
The light turns green, and I jump out ahead by two car lengths immediatly -- obviously the guy missed the light cue.
So I shut down to try and turn it into a race from a roll. I'm waiting at about 25mph and he blasts off from behind instead of matching speeds.
What the heck, I follow suit and floor it, (about a car and a half behind) and start reeling him in, slowly, but very steadily. I shut down when I was even. (road was prohibitive for more)
At the next light, me and the RT guy have some nice pillow talk. He was really cool, though I couldn't get his mods out of him. The charger actually did better than I thought based on what I've read.

Nice runs. I'd imagine aslong as you can drive and not bog your car if its a 5spd manual than you should beat him by a few cars. They are low 14 second cars and you are probably in the mid 13's if driven right.

nice kill they're nice cars but too heavy and you raced the 5.7 which only have 350hp to the flywheel, one of them tried to play with me but i blew his door off.

Nice race man, those RT's sound a lot meaner than they are.
If he was stock(probably was other than exhaust) you are actually making about the same amount of HP that he is. A cai and tune will set you up to around 330 and our cars are supposedly underrated by 15 HP.
