IWHINE vs Bolt on ls1
I was out crusing to go see my girlfriend and a camaro turns onto the road. He had debadged it and removed the modeling so at first i thought it was a v6 then i heard him start driving and that kinda gave it away he was a ls1. Onto the races
Race 1 40 punch i go he just kinda of stays back ( he told me he just left it in foruth becuase he didn't think much of my car becuase it was just a cobalt) so i let off after a second not seeing him race
Race 2 he is in second his time and he waves me to take the jump so i jump and he follows after i hit my gas. Through second i had a 1.5 cars i grabbed third and he was coming up but let off at 85.
Race 3 he tells me to jump again and hits it rate after me i put the same distance on him as before and we take it up to 100 this time were he reduces my lead to a fender and we let off.
We stopped at a parking lot and talked for a little showed off our mods and what not so heres everything
99 ls1 camaro 6 speed, bbk longtube headers, ory, borla catback, ls6 intake, slp air lid, drop in, smooth bellows,hurst sts, and a hypertech tune (don't ask me why he should of went custom) maybe gears but im not sure becuase i left him hard in second and that leads me to believe stock 3.42's becuase that would put him at the bottom of his gear.
06 ss/sc cobalt 2.5 pulley, hpt tuned, 60# injectors, drop in filter, cti lt header, 3"dp, stg4 clutch, hurst sts, dual pass intercooler endplate, 2nd heat exchanger ( ran in series with my stock one) 1 step colder plugs, thats about it for performance there are a few more but nothing that adds power.[/align]

Nice run.
What kind of trap speeds did you say your car puts up? Because that Camaro has a 6-speed, a bigger cam then my car, lighter wheels, and better gears. He would kick my ***.

this is about the 5th post i've seen you make in street/strip, not to be an ***, but must you keep referring to yourself as IWHINE vs soandso?? can't it just be like, raced a Z28- or something not to..narcissistic

your a 02 though so don't you have a little better flowing heads? Anyway last time i was at the track it was doing 86.40 in the 1/8th and 106.35 in 1/4 but my tune was whacky and i straightend that out. I was running really rich at the track like 11.0 from 1k to 5 k then after that more than 10.0. When we raced i was 12.4 to 5800 then it shot to 10.8 so a little better i also added 3 more degrees timing down low and a few extra up top. We will see next time but i think my car has 110 traps in it
