If therpm's drop below your launch rpm of2000, then the engine is bogging.

If you did not get the optional 3.55 rear gear, then your car has a 3.31. This means that you shouldbe able to launch ata higher rpm, say approx. 2500, without having tobe concernedabout excessive wheel spin or wheel hop.And becausethe engine produces more torqueat that rpm vs. 2000 rpm, itshould enable you to reduce your 60' times.
Also, do not focus on your reaction time. That's just a distraction at this point in time, and it has no effect on your ET. Concentrate instead onyour launch technique. And like the others have said, practice, practice, practice.

Another thing that may help to reduce your ET is to bring your tuner to the track, and reload the tune before running. And if possible, open the hood and let the engine cool down for 20 min. or so before running. These engines produce more power when they're cool.

You're welcome.
Your ET startswhenyour carstarts moving after the 2nd staging light comes on, and stops when you cross the finish line. So you canactually sit at the starting line for 5 minutes after the green light comes on, and it wouldnot affectyour ET.
Reaction time matters only when you're racing someone else. If 2 drivershave identical ET's, butone driver's reaction time is .05 seconds quicker, then that driver wins the race.

ok so its only the 60ft killing me, any suggestions on how to get that 60 ft down?
thanks for the help
With a tune you should be shifting at atleast 6200rpms, some recommend 6500. Get a shift light and set it there, it will help greatly. You aren't shifting to 4th are you?

I think you may be dropping your tire pressure too low. I drop mine to about 25 psi with the stock tires and get a pretty good launch at around 2500 rpm with the 3.55s. My best time is in my sig along with the 60'. It might also be a bit dangerous to be driving that fast on such a low tire pressure with a tire that really isn't designed to be that low.
