Default Track times

So i went to the track the other day and all i could get was a 14.1 @102.75 MPH.
i have a 07 gt with a 93 brenspeed tune and c&l intake.
Got a .43 reaction time, and a 2.4 60 ft. on the launch i didnt spin, lauched at around 2k engine temp was hot the needle on the gauge was in the middle, and i had half a tank of gas. weather was nice and around 60 degrees. oh and i dropped tire pressure to 14psi on stock tires.

my question is, if i keep tire pressure normal, and make sure i cool it down as much as possible and drop the gas to around 1/4 or less how much do you think that will help my 14.1, i know this is just guessing but this 14.1 is bothering me i think something might be wrong with my car.

Don't drop the pressure in regular street radials.
I say that because doing that would normally reduce the contact patch and make you spin badly, but you say you didn't so I don't really know what happened. But yeah, 2.4 is not good at all. Neither is 102 mph in 60* air with a 3-valve 4.6with a better air intake and tune.

Practice is the best and cheapest solution.

Are you bogging the engine, spinning the tires, or getting wheel hopwhen you launch?
Also,do you dump or feather the clutch, and do you press the gas pedal in a fast, smooth motion or just slam it to the floor?

Like I said, that car with those mods in those weather conditions should be traping higher than 102.
