Can you ellaborate? I mean myself, and I'm sure 90% of ppl in this forum would take an e46 M3 over an S197 GT...The remaining 10% would undoubtly be fanboys...

Im a "fanboy", but for 50k ust to outhandle me in the twisties...that aint it, you could put the best ahndling package and a blower on the S197 and it would matter, and you would still have plenty left over to play with.
But stock for stock M3 is better, but looks we win, upgrades we win, price we def win, so i only see the M3 winning in stock form agains our stock form
thats it.

m3's are far from "sucking". Yes, with 50k, you can build a mustang faster than it. For the same price you can build a stang faster than a vette and a viper also. For that same price you could easily have a Ferrari or GT40 killer. (Straight line) There comes a time where a stang is just a stang no matter how much you mod it.. So for 50k, i would gladly take the "Suckie" M3 over a mustang I could build for the same price, (wtf am I saying? No i wouldn't.. 30k in a termy is MURDER) Ok maybe not an M3, but i'd take the GT40 or Viper, even if your built stang can beat it. But i'm young and speed still matters to me. If i was older i'd take the M3, then race a couple stangs sure when they pull up to me, and if I loose, (which i don't plan too, it will probably be chipped and boosted)I'm still in a 50k M3 and he's in a mustang. PERIOD.
