My mom has a 50k 330ci they aren't that great... Have you ever driven one? The point is you paid for something overpriced for what it is.

So your point is they suck because they are overpriced. $55 large for a low 13 second car that handles very well and has exceptional interior.........So I guess a Porsche 911 turbo sucks because they cost $125K and put out numbers equal to a $70K sports car (aka Z06)..... ? Mention that kind of thinking on most boards and you'll find yourself being the odd man out........By the way, a 330 and an M3 are different animals...

Like C6 said, you're comparing completly different cars. The 330ci is not designed to do what the M3 does. I'm not even gonna go into the spec differences. There is alot more to your Moms' 330ci that makes it a $50k car. Speed isn't the only thing that runs up the price on a car.

I think an M6 is worth putting out that kind of dough. I would rather have an M6 over a Z06. I can't see enough differences in the Mustang GT and the M3 to me. I should update my sig I have alot of suspension mods so handling isn't really a factor for me. I'm haven't raced a m3 in the corners but I'm happy with it. I don't think the 330ci and m3 are that far off.

My personal opinion is this, M3's are sweet as hell. Mustangs are sweet as hell. The reason I own a mustang is I love a loud car. I can have an off road pipe and mufflers on the mustang and people say its badass sounding and I agree. If you put out that kind of noise from a beemer people would be wondering WTF is wrong with that beemer.

Not really true. I have a friend who has nothing put a pair of resonators in his exhaust and full headers (on an M3) and no-one thinks that. It sounds great, looks good, and isn't the same exhaust note as every other car around - much more like a race engine sound.
