WTF is going on here? This is quite possibly the first positive GTO thread I've ever seen at MF. Usually it's all...What a POS, they run 14's!

It had to happen sometime. You can't avoid the obivous fact that they are sick cars. I miss mine so bad it's not even funny

I had an 04 A4 and mod for mod my Mach is a tadfaster in the quarter, but the GTO was nicer IMO and didn't have the first interior rattle that plagues my Mach. Hate to say it, but I would rather have my GTO back.

I have seen the fastest NA GTO in the country run. Actually, I got to run it on the highway(I lost of course). I really can not find a reason to say that they are slow. I think he was in the high 10s NA.

Did you get a chance to find out what was done to the 11 second car?

He had rear mount twins, STS kit. That car sounded so badassed whistling down the track! Bone stock except for the turbos and fuel system I think he said he was pushing 6 lbs of boost.

I'm suprised he could plant all that power.I work with a guy that has a supercharged CTS-V and it puts 460 to the wheels at 6 pounds of boost.
