I have been in a new altima coupe with the v6 and its nothing like the 350z, maybe it weighs more but that thing feel like a snail in comparison.
And tommy, there isn't some need to protect the 350z owners dick size like there was with the vette owners.Some people just couldn't handle the f-bodies having as much power as the vette, but i'm sure you know that.
[sm=funnypostabove.gif] because it is true.

This should be about a 1 second difference at the track in your favor or a bus lenth or two on the street.

I know you are half joking, but remember with a Corvette/F-Body their is 40-55 years of image/heratiage that goes along with each car.

Thanks for the input. We have it all set up for tomorrow night. Once I get home with $100 in gas money I will let you guys know how it went down. Projectquick- I suggested the idea about the CAI combo and he wanted nothing to do with it. At least I tried.

Here goes.I met up with my buddy and his 07 Altima just about an hour ago. The car was pretty nice, completly stock for now and we set off for our race. He selected the course. A stretch of about a 1/4 of a two lane road and than about another three hundred yards of some twists and turns. We went on one side of the "track" and his g/f went on to the ending with my fiance so that they did not have to sit in the cars while we raced. He was still talking trash saying that because he has a stick he would win...but I wasn't aking it. We set up and took off. Right off the bat I shot out in front of him. I had about a 4 1/2 car length lead when we hit the curves. From there is was smooth sailing. We pulled over at the end and he handed over $150 for gas money for the month. To make it even better his g/f lost the bet with my fiance about who would win and than they had to take us out to dinner. Perfect ending. To add a little twist we decided without telling the girls that we would re-run the track on the way to eat. My lady was not too happy about sitting in the car for that. Guess I am sleeping solo tonight [:@]

Don't drive too much becauseI only work about 1 mile from my house. So back and forth its only about 10-15 miles tops a week. Usually I drive around more after work or when I am on my lunch break. Working close to home is a good thing.
