Look at the poor kid in this video. He's driving his dad's 300C SRT-8 and thinks that hebeat a mustang GT. Little did he know, it was a 6 cyl.

uhh from what i've read/heard the SRT8 300C's shouldn't have much of a problem with a stock 05-08 GT? much less a v6

 

Didn't look like an SRT-8 or a GT...maybe I'm wrong

I tried to read the emblem on the back of the 300, hard to tell, but I think it is a SRT. That is definetly a 6 cylinder Mustang though. The 300 ran a 8.97 1/8th mile, not terrible, but not great either.

 

i thought the srt-8s were right up there with a gt with the edge to the srt8?

 

the 300 isn't a sports car like a mustang, but i'm pretty sure that 425hp it comes with should beat a new GT, the GT does have areas it can make up for with it's better suspension & weight and such but i still don't think it'd have enough

 

SRT-8 should beat down any stock S197 GT...for what it's worthI can't think of any stock Mustang GT that could run the same times/keep up.

 

In a bench race they should. There close enough that I've seen guys in GT's pull out the win with better driving skills.
