Yet another death to report. Not that I didnt expect it, I knew what was coming. Its a 99-04 edge, Id say 01-02, real nice car. Not sure what all he has done, he told me a while back he had flows, and Im guessing an o/r midpipe of some sort, that thing really screamed.

We do a couple first gear pulls on the cruise strip, I jump out about a car, get reeled in. So, he pulls off onto the highway, I follow. 30 roll, 3 honks, 1 car. 2nd gear, hes at my mirror, top of 3rd, hes got at least 1 1/2. He pulled me so fast it wasnt funny. I had a passenger, he was by himself. Im guessing with a little gear, exhaust, and by myself, mighta been a little different. We came back onto the strip, honk-n-wave, try again next time........

P.S. I know its time for the full pi swap, please dont rub it in [8D] Theres a complete set of pi heads w/ cams for like $300 shipped for sale on the forum!!!! Just cant get my hands on the cash [:@]

Is it possible to put 3V heads on the older 4.6's, or are the blocks different? Just curious.

 

Screw a 3v, go with a 4v if it's possible, which I'm pretty sure is.

nah, wasn't too bad, but thats just because we shut down in 3rd. He was def. pulling hard on me, woulda been at least a 2 car loss if we pulled up to 120ish (which Im too chicken-**** to do anyways). It was all fun none the less, of course I hate losing, but I was trying to compare more than win anyways.

simpson........got 3.55's (dont ask why, they were cheap on ebay I guess) sitting in the basement, very first mod I bought for my car, last to go on. Im probably gonna put those back on ebay and find me some 3.73's, or is there even a big enough difference b/t the 2 to go through the trouble??

Ive been known to be wrong, but I highly doubt the 3v heads will bolt right up, and I almost def know the 4v wont........waiting to be corrected [8D]
