Default Raced an Sti with the newly s/c'd stang.

I have an 06 autostage 1 roush withrecently addedprocharger dynod at 450 rwhp 4 days ago.. So anyways, interestedto see what i could do,i pulled up to an sti on an access road. I went on the sti's gofrom about 40mph and we both were dead even to about 90 where i started to slowly pull. Kindof dissapointing, thought it would be not as close. Im guessing he was pushing TONS of boost.

It had to be modded. I'm used to seeing stock STi's trap around 102. Your blown stang should trap at the very veryleast 112 .

You need more torque! How much boost are you running?

He had to of been modded. I can beat stock STI's at the track pretty easily as long as I get a good launch and I'm not even SC. They beat me off the line but usually I can pass them by the 1/4 mile.

Does the auto downshift to second or third at 40? If it went to third that would explain the outcome.

No, the Limiteds do, and the '06s and up are a little heavier than the '05, which is a little heavier than the '04.

Are you talking about mustangs or STi's? From what I can tell they are both around 3400-3500 pounds, but it is hard to get an acurate number anywhere
