Yeah, there are quite a few cars well under half a million that could take down a Z06 stock for stock. However, they're all at least 3x the price, and many of them don't have near the comfort/convenience of a Z06. It seems to be the closest thing to a perfect recipe for a street driven sports car we may ever see. Power, performance, drivability, reliability, cost....it may be out of many people's price range, but what you pay for what you get is absolutely phenominal.

geeze he could make a termi run 12.3 and a shelby run 12.0!! Mabye not but you get the idea lol but off course those cars are not good enough for the great Ranger....

I dont think you have to spend quite that much. You could get a 599GTB or a SLR. Stock for stock they will beat the Z06. But your right, they all cost much much more than the Z06. And as we know from Mr Rogors, its nothing a few mods to the Z06 cant fix.
How does the Z06 compare with the askari KZ1?

Nothing in its price range can touch it. You have to spend multiple 6 figures on a Saleen S7 or an Enzo to take it down. I think the Viper comes pretty close though.
A little off the subject: I think it's amazing that all the aforementioned cars are naturally aspirated (although the Saleen has a badass boosted version).
