exactly. my 3.31s are working out great so far at the track. once i start trapping around 125-128 with them, the will be the perfect gear. right now im not even trapping at 5k rpm though lol im sure if i ran a 3.55 gear id already be well into the 11s. the only problem with the 3.31 or 3.55 (with a taller tire on the 3.55) would be launching. when you run a highway gear at the track, the launch RPM is hard to get nailed down. if im a couple hundred rpm off, or dont do it just right with the clutch, my 60' will go from 1.6 or 1.7 up to 2.3 or worse.

The gearing issue with turbos is just strange. It's totally different or backwards compared to what I'm used to. I'm curently working on a new clutch set up, asking around, reading on different companies. I thinking of getting more than I really need so when build my motor later, I will already have the holding power.

You don't need a linelock, you just need to start your burnout in second gear. Switching from 4.10's to 3.55's isn't going to lower your ET's. What kind of suspension mods do you have?
Sorry forgot to answer.

Steeda LCA's
Eibach pro's
D-specs
BMR relocates
Steeda Adj pan-hard

I should have kept my stock rear springs for track days but oh well.

im still running around on stock suspension minus the CHE lca's and UCA. ive cut a best of 1.629 60' you really need to get some smaller rims, and more sidewall, then ull easily be into the 1.5s

i run a spec stage 3 in my car, and its been doin great so far, 14k miles on it and still working

I know. This next summer when my overtime kicks back in and I'm making an extra 2,500 a month I'm buying some 15x10's and putting some different rubber on.

I just wanted to make sure you didn't lower the car without relocation brackets. I have my stock springs, but it would look really funny at the track with stock springs in the back and the frpp 1.5 inch drop springs in the front. I don't get enough weight transfer though with the frpp springs. I'm hoping removing my front swaybar will help that.

Clutch wise spec stage 3 works great, for the gears I would say go with 3.73's they are about the best gears for boost as in for the turbo cause you won't have your boost lag off the line and you should be able to get fully spooled in 1st. Tires if the rims can fit get a 15in. rim and put M/T et streets on them. Now the tire size I would go with a 26x11.5 tire. The 3.73's with a 26in tire in 4th gear at 6000 rpm you should be able to run up to 128-130mph. With the tire and gear do a good 2nd gear burnout, then rev to 5000 and dump it and powershift each gear to keep the boost up. Should put you at high 1.5 low 1.6 60's and the car should run 11.50's or better at 119-122mph

I agree it would look really funny. I'm gonna see of Eibach has something i can use for track use at the same ride height with a softer spring rate. I have had other friends speak directly with Eibach and get a specific spring to help with drag racing. I know they make drag springs.

I haven't done the sway bar thing yet but eventually I will.

This is exactly what my plans are. I beleive there are some 15' wheels that fit. As far as powershifting goes. I'm kind of holding off on that abuse until I have the cash for a new tranny. Right now I can do the 1-2, 3-4 shift without even letting the BOV open. The 2-3 is the one that gets me.

As far as the clutch. I'm flirting with the idea of getting an RPS clutch/flywheel combo. I'm wondering if anyone has any expereince?? The shop that wants me to get just raves about it.
