Don't really know where to put this so if it needs to be moved please do. Just looking the specifications on a 93 firebird with a chip full exhaust and a k&n? I know it is an lt1, just looking for what it is capable of doing.

My 93 Camaro went high 13.30's with full exhaust, cai, 2800stall,tune, on regular tires. They are faster than most think, just the ls1 is a monster people over look the lt1. I would not get another 93 though. Speed density and a piggy back ecm. Also the worst trans. I broke mine 3times and was only going 12.80's. It went the same as my 2003 gt, but the mustang did not have headers.

Camaros dont really see a big improvment with chips, plus they have to plug in directly to the PCM to work. Most of them just get a dyno tune. Anyway, depending upon his exhuast set-up and what kind of transmission he has. I would say exspect around mid-high 13s.

Thats an opinion of yours and this thread isent really the place to exspress it. If you have nothing more intelligent to add to this conversation than "that car is ugly" then I wouldnt bother posting. Exspecaily with 14 post...

c'mon now ferkler, nothing better to do than make comments like that?? I bet your imaginary car doesnt even look as good as his camaro, so dont even bother explaining what you really do have. Nickelodean should have their own website, check it out, your type might be more plentiful there.

btw......stig, your quote in your sig is the **** !!! One of the most respectful things I have heard/read in a long time.....

well the car has a chip and not a dyno tune. I dont know the exact transmission but it is a manual. The reason i am asking is because we have raced( the lt1 is my buddies car and my mods are in sig) and i beat him everytime. but i havent been to the track so i dont know what i am running, although i would assume mid to low thirteens, and we are looking for what he might be able to do. On his forums everybody says he should be in the high twelves low thirteens. i personally think that is bull**** coming from biased people and because i'm pretty sure im not in the twelves. i know that there are some unbiased people on here. Any more input from you gm guys.

And procs2v, what do you think your car wouldve done without the stall??

My car is an LS1 with an air intake, full exhaust and drag radials and it runs high 12s/low 13s. So his LT1, despite having a "chip" (whatever that is), a 6-speed and steeper gears should not be able torun the same ETs asmy car.

An LT1 with only exhuast, air intake & chip in the 12s? Maybe at the 1K'. But hes not picking up a full second in the 1/4 with a few bolt ons.

For the mods you have and baised upon how you did aginst the LT1 I'd say you estimate of low-mid 13s is very accurate.

TY 97tplsGT, I have always enjoyed that quote also.

The LT1 with just K&N filter, exhaust, and a chip would probably be a high 13 second car. It could possibly do a mid 13, but with how most LT1's have been treated in their lives, not very likely. 93 was also one of the slower years of the LT1 F-bodies anyways. With the mods on your 05 GT, I'd say that you'd be doing a pretty easy low 13 in it. Your car may very well be capable of a high 12. I don't like to admit it because I'm a GM guy, but it certainly could. I hear that a tune really wakes up the 05+ GT's and they're already supposed to be a mid-high 13 car stock. So, add your mods and I'd think a high 12 second pass should be achievable.
