See,diots like that give bad rep to v6 community. Its a shame that they are even allowed to drive a mustang rather it be a 4 cyl,6 or 8

lol. I can't believe he thought that his car would even come close to haning with a New Edge GT. There's a guy with one in my town that's supercharged. It's still very slow. Even with the supercharger, he couldn't beat my stock 5speed Z24. I think he had a supercharger off the mid-90's Thunderbird SC's. I think there's something wrong with his car though. Because before he had the supercharger, I raced him with my stock 3.4 Camaro with a 5speed. He gota bigjump and I still beat him.

first of all, m90s (tbird blowers) dont work on new edges unless you swap the whole motor back to single port, but with JUST a GT catback, on average, they run a 14 flat, a base model 11 psi procharger will put it at 300 rwhp/ft.lbs so im thinking hes just BSing you on a blower he sounds like a tool like the guy in the story who doesnt deserve a stang[8D]

It wasn't a New Edge, it was a 96-98 V6. I saw under the hood too at a car show about a week before I raced him. It looked just like under the hood of the SC Thuderbirds with the tubing that says supercharged on it and everything.

Not sure where you get your info from. But a new edge at 11 psi of boost will run mid to hi 13s all day on street tires. And a M-90 swappd with stickys is good for low 13s. Heres a proof
