A perfect reaction time for a full tree is .500 seconds
Some tracks use .000 light, just depends on your local track. Other than that he covered the majority of the terms I think.

Basically just watch the process for a while until you are comfortable, and then pay attention to the people running the track. Those are the best ways to stay out of trouble.

IHRA sanctioned tracks use .000 tree
NHRA .500 tree

That is true about the speed trap lights, I stand corrected.
As far as the RT light goes, I've only ever raced at NHRA tracks (both 1/8 and 1/4) and they were always on a .500 or .400 system as per competition rules. Maybe some tracks go to a .000 system for non-competition events (like street nights).

I race at Gateway International Raceway. They use a .000 tree for test and tune (with the three ambers lighting up seperately) and a .400 pro tree for Midnight Madness.

I thought that the trap photocells were located at 66' (1/20 of the track length) before the finish line and one at the finish line with the last one stopping both the et clock and the speed clock?
You are correct.
This means, as navyscott alluded to,that what is listed as your trap speed on your slip is not actually how fast you were going at the finish line, just your average speed over the last 66 feet.
They used to put the trap speed beams after the finish line, but guys were staying on the throttle after they crossed in an effort to get a nice mph on their timeslips. You can imagine what kind of problems arose.
