Default 98 GT Question

Dude I know has a 98 GT with exhaust and intake. What should he be getting at the wheels? If he could tune it whatcha think he'd put down then?

Id say he is probly running 185-190 rwhp stock.

With a tune he could probly gain 10 HP.

These are just my estimates, guys with this car would know more.

If you can't get at least 200 to the wheels something is wrong. Intake & full exhaust should be worth 30 extra hp over stock. Tune should be worth 8 or 10 more on top of that.

Intake and full exhaust on a non PI mustang will net about 15hp. Hell, a blower slapped on a stock motoer with no mods at 6-8psi wont even push one of those things over 300hp. The first thing I would do is swap heads/cams and then start on mods.. They are probably the worst mustang out there for gains on mod's.

While they may be the worst engine in a mustang, their still a V8 that will greatly appreciate all the extra breathing. My 4 banger gained 30 HP from intake and exhaust.
