I didnt get the car back. They called and told me that they wasnt going to have the tranny back together on friday. I was PISSED to say the least. None the less... they are paying for the full price of the rental for the entire time ive had it.
I am happy to say that I just mounted a set of BFG Drags 275/60/15's to a set of rims yesterday and they are ready for the track. Im almost positive I will see 12's with those. Im gonna let them down to about 18-20 lbs of pressure and launch as high as I can with them. Im hoping for a low 1.8 60' with them, seeing as how ive pulled high 1.8's out of Nittos.
I think the track is open on Wednesday and I will report as soon as I get back. If not Wed. then it will be Friday. [&o]
Any helpful hints.
Im gonna raise the front tires to 40lbs too!

Yes. Go higher in the fronts. Go 46 ish. Start with 19 in the rears and take a little out as you go. 16-17 should be ideal. Now go find those 12's!

yeah... ive been putting 40 psi in them because thats the max. Im gonna get into the 12's dammit!!! LOL Are BFG's good enough for rev limiter launches? Ive been told they are and some say their not.
