Sorry for the delay in response guys. I have been really busy with work and everything. Yes it is a V6, and it was about 80 degrees out side and VERY humid that night.

My first track drag race was against an LS1 Trans Am Vs. my 02 ZX3 Focus........Lets just say I got slaughtered to say the least. 12.9 to my high 16 something!

 

No way, stock 2v's run low 9's in the 1/8 with a good driver.

 

Yea no 9.0s.


but I raced an 05+ 4.0 today, he had a loud exhaust and a gt500 body kit, with black rims.

But I set a record today, I raced 3 cars (career high)

The v6 mustang---wouldnt call it a race because I was behind him and couldnt pass him due to cars in the other lane. But I pulled good on him..

I really diddnt want to race him because of the other cars. But if I diddnt race him we'll have a GT_killA on the streets.[8D]

Perfect race on the highway, he floored it first when he was behind me, I floored it...he passed me by a fender because he floored it first, once my car shifted I put 2ish cars on him


Race 3

There was this **** talker kid at my cousins HS, he was saying his modified eclipse rs sh-its on mustang GT's all day. lol

Yea I raced him, put lots of cars on him ,10+? He had a full bolt-on eclipse rs...

I am officially done with street racing, I really diddnt want to race the kid, but hey!

The next thread im making is going to be about my 1/4 times, or else ill get another 6 page flame fest about "sub times".

Nice runs man, and +1 on the street racing. Its just not as fun as the track.

 

I agree, I love the anticipation of getting the timeslip....

LOL nice runs man. Ya I love going to the track. But I did race my friends 2006 VW jetta last night. He said he had full tune and headers with full exhaust, and some other stuff i dont remember. We started from a dig. By the time I hit 25 I had a car on him and when I was about 60 I put atleast 6 cars on him.

Just a quick FYI, at that part of a race you cannot reasonably predict what will happen...although you said you pretty much smoked him anyway. It's just a thought. [&:]
