With normal bolt-ons (intake, exhaust, and tune), do you think i would have a fighting chance against an M3 with an intake...everything else is stock. - Made a bet that after I get everything done, that I should be able to keep up no problem. Anyone raced one of these yet?

 

I'd guess it would be very close. Power would be about the same, not sure on weight though.

 

My buddy ran a 13.6 @ 102 with an 03 M3 with intake and suspension. He also had a 2.0 60FT.I'd think that a mustang should be able to do a little better than that with the mods you mentioned.

 

It really depends on the driver. This is just a regular M3, not a DINAN right?

i think the 03 m3 had 333hp? if so, i dont see why you wouldnt be able to take him... im sure you could prolly edge em out as well (depending on driving skills)

 

The M3's also have 6 speed transmissions (manual or their SMG paddle shift) and they may also be lighter than the S197. They might also include a launch control program similar to the new M5/M6, but I could be wrong on that. Either way that should keep this race (if it ever happens) close.

 

It should be close, but I'd give a slight edge towards the M3......

Back on track, if the M3 is not a DINAN, then it is a drivers race. They are lightweight, and more aerodynamic and have better gearing for roll racing so to say.

 

i got beat from a roll by a m3, they are no slouch at all. Im still looking for one to take revenge though
