SRT face off
Yes all that stuff is going to be in the car hopefuly by the spring when the tracks reopen. The 351C is already bulit has been since the late 80s .. the motor was for my uncles old prostreet stang ,however he never finshed the project and the car was solid as a roller the motor is has been sitting in the shop since. Back in 05' when i bulit my 306 there was talk of me using that motor ,but my car WAS then a daliy driver so the 306 was better for that. Now my car is becoming more of a strip setup and its not a daily driver, so Iam going with the 351C setup. The C4 is being bulit to handle the power, subframes will be welded in aswell by mid jan or so. I figure this setup would bea SRT4killer heres why 351C's are knowned for their high revs and make tons of power up top= SRTs are knowned for there very high MPH trap speeds once that turbo spools up. I also plan on using some juice because this motor was bulit for it anyway with the forged TRWs. This guy is telling me he runs 11's with slicks , although i have never seen it. HE BETTER BRING ENOUGH.

I have personally seen more than one SRT-4 run high 11s @ ludicrous speed.

Curious,.... at what point does the head gasket let go or the stock internals give in?Given that 11 second time slips are very respectable, but 11 secs with a turbo charged 4 cylinder is almost amazing in my book.
I wouldnt mind having one of those little bugers, too.

There is a fella around in my area that 'says' he has a little over 500 rwhp, on 110 octane. 370 ish on 93. Hes not a BS'r so I dont really doubt him. Ive had his car in my shop to do his oil change. The turbo on it is considerably larger than on my Datsun Z. I know its got a Garrett, but dont remember what he said the trim was.
Hot Rod did and engine tear down on a SRT-4 to see how well they would hold up under the normal abuse of drag racing. Heres the link to that article. They were fairly impressed with the 2.4!

I have never seen an SRT4 in any form run any faster than a mid 12 (it was a stage 3 i believe, didnt even know there was a stage 4) I think a lot of it comes down to driving... for every mid 13 second SRT4 i see, i see 5 running high 14's

If you're running a shot of nitrous with all that motor work, he's going to need some serious cash under his hood to keep up with you. I give you the W, as long as you get your car together by then. If not... run away!!!

.. rephrase.. I sat in a srt-4 with 350 rwhp. That ****ing **** pulls.
