"i just wanted to make sure i wasnt crazy in saying a 99-04 vs a lt was a drivers race.." was my main question.. yes most of the people were saying no way he beat a gt.. but there were people sayin it could keep up. also a guy sayingLT1's could beat 99-04 gt's bad. and i also saw LT1's were just a lil bit slower than a mach non sc cobra.. i read every message..................

ah, i recognizeu now. didnt catch on with the different SN. There are always going to be a couple guys in every thread who think lt1 is almost as fast as ls1. and therefore with the mach and cobra, we deal with that every day on that forum. its irritating. Just the same, there are guys here who think a bullit with long tubes will hang with a terminator. You need to go with the overwhelming majority, because a couple outlier opinions are pretty normal. usually guys who have had a couple races and got lucky to get paired up with a horrible driver, or the guy who got beat but decides for himself that he is a bad driver and that he would have won.... those are the worst [&o]

V6 camaro's are a freaking joke! I absolutely decimated one a few months ago! I even destroyed one years ago with my Daytona Turbo Z! They're dogs to say the least.

Really depends on the Cobra... early cobras and my stock auto LT1 were a dead heat (up until the 99 cobra I usually found myself door to door stock for stock with them pulling me up top since my **** was broke and I only trapped 97mph)....
Until the 03+ Cobras an LT1 is closer than people want to admit.

Is it just me, or do the Mach's seem to be the quickest N/A4v 4.6 ?
And, speaking of LT1's, I almost got a 96 WS6 T/A, 6spd. I called the guy Saturday morning and he said someone was going to look at that afternoon, and he would call me back if it didn't sell. He never called back.
He needed to rid of it quickly and only want $3995( no typo). I wanted to drive for a month then turnaround and sell it for book value(~$6300.)
