Default 99-04 GT

i was reading in the camaro forums and saw an interesting topic. a 3.8 camaro auto stock beat a 2000 gt auto stock pretty bad.. so as i am reading on i guess it seems that 3.8's can keep up with the 4.6's, and the lt1's kill us. from my experience i have beat a 94 and a 97 Z28 when i was stock. I have people telling me lt's are killing 4.6's bad and are just a little slower than a mach 1 and non SC cobras lol.. i just wanted to make sure i wasnt crazy in saying a 99-04 vs a lt was a drivers race..

I could see a v6 maybe keeping up with a sn95 or a foxbody, but no way would one beat a new edge they have around 60 more hp

It's going to take a 3.8 Camaro atleast full bolt-ons and gears to keep up with a New Edge GT. And a New Edge GT is also a driver's race with an LT1, basically, with a possible slight edge going to the LT1's. The Camaros that kill New Edges by quite a bit are the LS1's.

NPI 4.6 and 5.0's are good races with 3800's. (if both are stock.)

a 4.6 2V.....maybe, if the mustang driver is a moron, has trouble with lt1's
a 4.6 4V.....runs with stock ls1 (drivers race)
