Default Orlando Dragway Runs

Went to Orlando Speedworld tonight. 05 redfire s197 5 spd, no weight reduction, full street trim, 17" wheels on the 235 stock pirellis (dropped to 26 psi in the rear), quarter tank of gas. Weather was around 65 degrees. Only mods are K&N CAI and VMP 93 octane tune.

Best run was a 12.908 @ 107.45 w/ 1.899 60'.

All runs went like this:
1st- 13.135 @ 107.08 w/ 2.000 60'
2nd- 12.908 @ 107.45 w/ 1.899 60'
3rd- 13.069 @ 107.33 w/ 2.025 60'
4th- 13.563 @ 106.47 w/ 2.199 60' (wheel hop gods paid me a visit)

For the people that may doubt my times, I had a few MF members witness my times andsaw my mods, including Justin from VMP. He gave my car a once over and can verify that I only ran with the CAI and his tune.

All I can say is, Wow! Nice runs man. I'm a firm believer of Tuning. I'm still shocked though.

I was there and met up with him. I heard the 12.9 run on the radio. I wish my runs were better though [:'(]. I'm still working on my driver mod.

Its been said over and over the S197 GT is capable of 12's with just and intake and tune, now it has been proven, so bring on the LS1's, LOL. Seriously man them are some awesome runs and I cant wait to hit up our 1/8 mile next Summer.

It has more potential than most people think.

Nice! Trapping 107 ain't nothing to sneeze at either. You can tell VMP's tune is making good power. Get some better tires.
