The 99 cobras didn't have a forged bottom end right? Not sure what he was expecting with that much power.
Nope they don't. Apparently the guy wasn't informed. lol. What are the stock 4v bottom ends capable of without blowing? For some reason, I'm thinking around 450, but I'm not entirely sure.

450 on the block is for the current 3V V8. As a rule they use 50% I believe. So that would put you on 390 on the block for the standard V8 GT... incidentally the same numbers as the terminator...

But I believe the cobra had 305? So 450 would sound about right if you use that "unwritten rule"

I think the 99 and 01 Cobras were rated at 325, but the 96-98's were 305.
