Yeah ext cabs, 4X4's, SS and basically all Silverado's are slow unless it's a reg cab with the short bed, with a 5.3 or 6.0 V8. Then they're fast!

 

C6 ZO6 ripped me up on the freeway once. Not that losing to one of those is a bad thing, but damn!!!! The way he pulled on me was just disheartning. I was feeling almost invincible up to that point and then reality set it. [:@] Worst part about it was the car still had dealer plates on it. Talk about adding insult to injury.

 

Is that how it really went down ApexGT? Cause I heard that Mustangs can't loose.

My embarassment was not by the car that beat me, but by witnesses to the race.

Back when my wife and I were only dating. We were out in my old Mustang. It was a rusted 88 hatch running high 13's. I saw a Road Runner that I remember from the track. It was a 12 second car. I wanted to see it in action so I instigated a race, knowing I'd lose.
This thing rips me a new *** but right after a minivan full of teenagers goes rolling by with the side door OPEN. They are pointing and yelling at me. "You got your *** kicked, HA, HA!!"

 

A long time ago, when my car was stock and I didn't exactly know that AMG meant 500+ hp I "accidentally" raced a a cl63 from a light and lost.

I also lost to a stock e63 M3 from a roll. No honking, he gunned it and I chased but couldn't catch up.

 

Back when I was young and ignorant I raced a 4.3 S-10 in a 2.3 Mustang, I was pretty sure I would win because it was an 88. We raced from a stoplight for roughly an eighth mile and he beat me bad off the line and by about 3 cars at the end, I knew my car was slow but that made me realize it was the slowest thing on the road

 

i have three,

first one was more of a tie, it was a supercharged 4 banger toyota with brass ***** and less then 3000lbs of weight, roll race. i was in third trying to make the *** woopin i THOUGHT i was gonna give him not look as bad when i shoulda been in second [:@]. we honked and launched and i heard whining and saw him right next to me and i had to pull over and ask him what he had

next one was a modded busa i wasnt even trying to race haha. on the freeway there was this tour bus that had its blinker on, i tried to get ahead of him to put on my hazards hoping he would look at me and wonder why i was doing that for no reason. all of a sudden a busa rolls up next to me drops into gear and takes off. when he see i dont budge he drops back and shakes his head at me. so i said whatever we can run real quick so i dropped to third and honked at 70mph, took off and he made me look like i was standin still, he had to have trippled my acceleration. i will never waste my gas on a bike again unless i have 900rwhp and i dont see that happening anytime soon

third one was to my brothers new g37, it was my first organized race and my second time launching the car from a dead stop. for some reason i thought i could do a 4k clutch drop on my street tires. i lit up first and second and he looked like he sprayed me. we came back and did a 15 roll, he didnt wanna do 45 cus the street wasnt that long, so i lit up a little first again and he pulled, pulled second and stoped his pull when he was a car and a half ahead of me, just when i thoought things were getting better i missed third, now he thinks he can beat all stock mach 1's [:@]lol, i tried to tell him people go 13.1 in my car but he doesnt believe me. needless to say i need a serious driver mod from a dig, better tires, 4:10-4:30 and thats it

 

ive only lost a few, not too many fast cars in my area
but on I-220 i lost from 75-about 115 to a Siverado SS[&:], i didnt even realize the made the Siverado SS

 

lost to a Chev 4X4 pickup witha diesel.............course he also ran a low 12

 

i just lost last night to a 3800 v6 camaro... talk about killing my cobra ego..

 

i dont know what kind of car it was, but when i had my 89 lx with quite a bit of mods done to it we were all street racing and the cops came and we all ran, but while on interstate some car pulled on the side of me, i dont have any clue what kind of car it was but i know it was an import. we punched it from a 70 roll and at first i jumped like a half car up then all the sudden he left me, so to cover it up i turned offf my headlights and acted like my car killed on me. because my 2 buddys were behind me and they drive a uhh what is it, it looks like an older eclipse but its not? oh yea plymouth laser and my other buddy in his toyota carolla with the crap muffler. they all of course started talking **** so i said man i heard that **** winding up then my car flipped out. never did admit to losing.
