a lightly modded and well driven s197 should keep close with a stock srt8...low 13s...some have gotten into the high 12s...

Americanspeed trapped 108 with just intake and tune in a s197. I've seen plenty of srt8's trapping below 108 as well. Anyway trap speed isn't everything.

A lightly modded Stang should be a good match for a SRT-8.

in destroy many of the cars that trap 108 against me, and i only trap 105-106...

I agree. I've beat several that trap higher than I.

The first 60' usually makes or breaks it.

Not sure what I dyno, have never gotten the car dynoed. I think the average 3v with my mods probably dynos around 290rwhp or so. But there have been plenty intake/tune 3v's to run 12's and tons to run low 13's, which is what the average SRT-8 runs. Like I said I started to reel him in but he braked. I know the top end on those things are nothing to mess with but who knows what would have happened.
