Wasnt much of a race as it could have been. As I was coming back from my Brother-in-laws house I took a different route because he said it was faster. So I cut through the backroads and get onto the main road and eventually got onto this newer road that connects these 2 roads together. Not hardly ever any traffic on them so I figured I could speed alittle bit to get home. So I'm cruising at about 70 in a 55 and I pass this yellow SRT-8 Charger with a guy driving, probably in his mid to late 50's and his Wife in the passenger seat. So I just pass him and I'm cruising and then I come up on a light that is green so I'm thinking of just going on thru it when all the sudden it changes yellow so I just slow down and stop. Well this Charger was behind me and then moves over into the other lane so I'm thinking yes, but then I was thinking nah he wont do anything. So the light turns green I take off normal but then realize he was wanting to go because he gunned it, so with him about 1 car and a full head esteem ahead of me I punch it in 1st, slam 2nd with him about 3-4 cars ahead and when I slammed 2nd I got alittle sideways with the trac control off, but I regained it real quick and kept going, got it down to about 2 cars when I put it in 3rd and then to about 1 car right after, then the guy hits his brakes. I'm thinking damnit I wanted to hit atleast 100mph to see if I could have caught up and passed him. With my mods and trac control off at the track on my stock tires I dont know whats gonna happen if I slam it in 2nd and get sideways, I know I dont wanna hit the wall. Not really a kill, a death I guess you could say but I think I would have caught him.

Very nice. I had one beside me a week or so ago at a light. Older guy, he just looked straight ahead and inched forward when it went green. Sucks, but maybe another time!

 

Very nice is right, but it would have been nicer if he wouldnt have braked.

What do you dyno at now with your mods? I still don't see you catching up on a 108-110mph trap car though.
