BTW no... NOT ALL V8 AMG's are kompressor's. Kompressor is German for supercharged.... so only supercharged mercedes will have the kompressor badging. I was reffering to the the little slk. It comes stock with a s/c 4 cylinder, but when AMG gets ahold of it, it is a s/c V6 that puts out 350hp. In a light car.... it will move.

Yeah that was total bull**** too. I cannot beileve a guy in a 3700 pnd cobra with nitto drag radials cannot out launch a guy with a 4000+ Lb car with smaller tires

Ya I know this info has already been posted...weight is close to a Stang. An 04 Cobra could own a stock CLK 55 AMG unless the driver stunk or the CLK had some mods to it. I don't know what you have on your Stang Casper, but it was a good run.

I was just gonna ask that same question. I wanted to know how much this thing weighed. Cause im not exactly how much my pony weighs, but i was thinking it was close, because this thing was a 2 door. I kinda thought they might be close. But i dont know. I really wished the roads were warm, cause i wanted to go from a stop. I really wanted to see the look on his face when i sprayed him.... Looks like i'll have to wait until we both get up to the strip.

But god, did i give that guy a run for his "money" literally. lol. I didnt think it was anything special at first because it was close, but he still had me. He could have been a dick and just laughed at me and sped off. But he stopped and chatted. I think its cause he had a 02 GT before this.

98..being a tech I would expect more..but most tech don't know how to hotrod a car same as most real hotrodders can't work on a everyday car well.. sorta the trade off...

I am guessing that 206 is at the wheels. Which isn't too bad considering they ran I think between 170-190 stock (I may be wrong). Shoulda had the NAWS, Lol.

Sucks to lose, especially when you know you could have won if you didn't do or did do something.

Um.... im confused. Could you please make me understand whats this is all about??? you wouldnt expect more being a tech? I dont just work on fords and toyota's replacing parts. lol. I know what im doing....most techs build cars. BEcause they know what they are doing.... I have never met a tech that didnt have an interest in building cars.....Unless they are the homos that do everything by the book and take their sweet *** time, then loose money because they are used to doing it hourly.


Yup, 206 to the wheels... I could have used nitrous, but i didnt have my bottle filled.. Im not disiopinted what so ever. I know i did very well against a 360 hp car... he had at least 100 more hp to the wheels and i still kept up pretty good. The reason im not sad, is because i know im going to the drags and line up against this guy and put a hurting on him in front of a crowd.
