Default Took down the Talon

Just got back and had a good time w/ an Eagle Talon. We are drivin down a two lane road and I notice him comin up in my mirror. He is in a red Eagle Talon w/ his gf. We look @ each other and nod. From there on out my mustang did the talkin. We were at a roll of maybe 35-40 and we took off. I put it into 3rd and floored it. To tell you the truth, I was a little worried cause my rpms seemed a little low and we were neck and neck. THen I heard him have to shift.... I am now at about 3500rpms and climbin. I hear him shift and then to my surprise, I eventually hear him have to shift again. I reallly was surprised cause the second shift was while I was still in 3rd at about 4500rpms. Each shift I gain about 1/2 a car length and by the time I shut down, I was a full length ahead.
This wasn't an phenomonal race but, it made me feel good that I could run and my stang could back me up the whole way....

split second judgement and I wasn't sure if I would be able to really use 2nd to good effect before shifting but I know for next time.

no clue. it was dark out and I really do not know talons. Only one friend has one and I hardly see it at all.

That guy has some short gears, or he is a suxor driver. Either way nice kill. Especially with the underrev. At least he won't cry. Be nice to the other children now. Especially us 16 second owners .

why do you say that? No offense. I know my car is beatable, but I think the reason that he hung w/ me is my low rpms. Maybe a 2nd gear run would have left him. I just floored it and as I built rpms I took lead due to his shifting. BY the way, what engine and hp numbers do the tsi and non turbo talons have. Like I said, I am ignorant to them.
