Whoever said Talon's are pieces of crap is wrong. They may have problems but they are really fast and nice cars when done right. My friend has a 96 talon tsi, when we were both stock we were 100% dead even. He recently got upper intercooler piping and a 1st gen bov, and a 3 inch catback. He pulls good on me now. The talon you raced definitely was stock because if he had any mods, he would have pulled on you. Exaust work does wonders for turbo cars. It pisses me off to hear people talk **** on cars they dont know anything about, especially ones my friends own. So learn more about the car before you say stupid stuff.

wow. you're a tool. read the whole post. i'm sure you were talkin to me because i said they were crap. i also said they can be made fast for very little money. they're just not very reliable cars. besides, not all talons are AWD and turbo. you don't know if he was racing a tsi or an esi. he doesn't even know. sounds like you're the one who needs to learn more before saying stupid stuff.

I know all talons arent awd turbos, the esi is a non turbo front wheel drive...now thats a waste of money. unreliable and slow. awd tsi's are nice cars tho. 1st gens are easier to make faster but 2nd gens, imo, look better.
