Jesus, the OP said he wasn't stock. Read people. if he's pushing 220hp, he's gonna be MUCH quicker than stock. Stock they have 160hp. You're gonna have your hands full, but you should still be able to come out on top. Go from a dig, and you have a much better chance.......

, oh yeah and the whole 0-60 in 5.2 dont we run that or really close to that? especially with a cai and a tune?

If you believe the math the runs in my sig should have been...
Stock - 4.69 Seconds
CAI/Tune - 4.17 Seconds
Up to you if you want to buy it but the formula for figuring 0-60 mph from 1/8 mi times and traps
is supposed to be accurate to within 1/10 second.
Just like the mags dont always do such a great job at the strip (Seen any 10 second Z06's in MotorTrend?) they
dont always do such a great job at getting from 0 to 60.

well i looked up the quarter and it said 14.5 for john works 2003 so i figured thats what he should run with the 2004, sounds like it could be made pretty qucik though, thanks for the quick responses. damn now i wanna race and find out!
as for the 220hp i dont know he might be full of it, because he said he thoguh he had 220. Then i asked him if he bought it from the dealer with that stuff on or did he add it later. he said he bought it from the dealer like that, but he also said it was supercharged the new ones have a turbo, did the2004's with the john cooper works packagehave a supercharger or turbo? idk i think he mihgt be wrong on his hp numbers but who knows.

dont let those things fool you. my dad has a 2008 cooper s(the new turbo charged ones) and they are quick. if u go from a dig u will get him. i have beaten my dad from a dig and i only have 195rwhp/220rwtq. also my dad has been driving a stick for at least 23 years. i think you will have him. the supercharged ones only ran 15.3's. they are hard cars to launch. take it to some turns or a road course and your toast LOL.

My best friend with the new mini has beaten a new edge gt off launch, new eclipse off launch, e350 off launch.Heisknown by everyone has a very good driver and hes only 19. Hes only mod is an open downpipe and a blowoff valve.

but the john works package is a special package u have to buy. Im sure your friend doesnt have it becuase it would say it on his car and you would have noticed. So the car stock is mid 15's but its hard to make a judgement without knowing what the guy really has =/
