very "good" video there. Def. makes me think, a lot. Now its time to show this to little brother. He's currently riding the BMT (by my thumb) express for two years. He got caught street racing for the 2nd time in 4 days, and decided to run from the cops. The chase lasted about 20-25 min, but got called off after speeds reached 120mph, and he was "steadily pulling out of sight". The only reason he got caught was because the cop zoomed in on his license plate on his dashcam......

The moral of all this?? We all either are(at times) or know a "dumbass driver". I just don't think the boys' learned his lesson yet, because nothing happened to him. Now Im hoping to use this video as a potential tool for saving his life.

whoopidy doo you drive a corvette and ride your bike... it doesnt matter what you drive, you should always pay attention to what is around you. Yes of course when you get in a vehicle there is always are risk of something happening but it wont be your fault if you are driving responsibly now will it? since you can afford a corvette buy yourself a damn cell phone jammer.

 

Justtell him its hard to look cool when you'reeating via a feeding tube.

 

Its not that people here are worried...i guess you just dont get the message/ lessonthat went along with that video.

Personally i kinda feel the same about cells, but some people have that ability to muli-task with no trouble at all and people who may need to be on the phone (ie: dispatch) should be able to. But its usually a case by case with me.

Driving that fast in wet conditions, well your just askin for something to happen.

But, dosnt sway from the fact that the aftermath of that accident is very real. And if even just for the moment that this guy learned a lesson an the severity of his actions gives me hope that otherswill learn to be more careful and less ignorant or more considerate for those around you and who love you. Time and place for everything...

Clearly your priorities in life are different than mine.

I have friends that have died in Iraq, I have friends that have been injured in Iraq, I know people that have died due to complete neglegence of a drunk driver.

My point is a very valid one and anyone who doesn't agree is a few bricks short of a load. Sorry if I don't feel sorry for someone who does this **** than gets hurt or totals there car.

And oh Mr.Almighty Z06 doen't try to point me out as less than you either.

 

This is why I never street race. This video really doesn't do very much because people tune something out which is too graphic and shocking. Believe me, I'm not running you down, you just went about this the wrong way, even though I agree completely.

 

Remember that friendly little advice I gave you in the other thread Cody? There you go! Ever hear of compassion ,common decency? I've seen this video on several forums and your the only f*ckingtool to take a f*ck em attitude! And you actually street race with your little buddy clugsrt just like the kid in this video. I really hope nothing like this every happens to you while your out playing with your little buddies. This kid made a mistake and should be commended for trying to stop others from making the same mistake.

 

Take some time and read *******, I am not the only one with the **** happens response. And wow " one "person says I ****ed up please don'tdo the same and we should all care?
