the fire bird weighs like a little more but nothing to make a difference.
Firebird and Camaro are both the same car.

LOL! This reminds me of when people ask who would win in a fight, me or my brother (we are twins). We don't like to answer it, but in the end, we both know who would win! (me)

Everyone always says Firebird equals Camaro but keep in mind there are differences.
Z28 = Trans Am = Formula
WS6 = SS
Firehawk = SLP Optioned SS
The Firehawk and SLP SS came with a high flow lid and high flow cat-back which gave them a nice 10-15hp over a stock LS1.
Also with the Z28 and Formula the standard gear ratio was 2.73 in the Automatics.

The performance is very similar 2.73 vs 3.23 but it is cool to see the 2.73 car shift into 3rd at 100mph.

The Z28 must weigh less though doesn't it?

People with no option Z28's will say there cars are faster and lighter but in reality they weigh maybe 40-50lbs less than a loaded car.
